34th Annual Conference of the Association for Contemporary Iberian Studies

The 34th Annual Conference of the Association for Contemporary Iberian Studies takes place in London, 4th – 6th September 2012, and held at King’s College London. This event is organised by the Association for Contemporary Iberian Studies, in partnership with King’s College London and the University of Westminster.

ACIS – Association for Contemporary Iberian Studies was founded in 1978 with the goal of developing the study on social, economical and political affairs of the Iberian region, as well as promoting the collaboration among academics who share an interest in the developments of contemporary Portugal and Spain. With this in mind, ACIS focus its scientific work in the analysis of the Portuguese and Spanish territories and its international relations of the last hundred years, also including the study of Portuguese and Spanish and the minority spoken languages of the Iberian Peninsula.

The Political Observatory is present with two panels, guaranteeing the participation of two PhD Researchers and nine Associate Researchers.
